DVD release of the film adaptation from hit manga Mahotsukai ni Taisetsu na Koto starring Rio Yamashita and Masaki Okada. Set in present day Tokyo. Sora who is a cheerful girl from Hokkaido comes to Tokyo to join a magic intership to be an official wizard approved by the Bureau of Magic, which employs wizards for certain special requests by everyday people. In this world, wizards must only use their magic with special permission, and any unlicensed use results in a penalty. While training to get better with her magic, she meets lots of people especailly a mysterious boy named Gota who also practices magic to become a wizard. He cannot use magic well and he seems distant and cold for some reason at first , but the two gradually learn not only magic but also a lot of new things about life and each other. They fall in love, but Sora has a sad fate. . . |
